Remember when we crossed paths
you believed you had to have me
You had a few tricks up your sleeve
running water couldn't let me leave
bubble baths by candlelight
soon you received
Only to discover I was not
the one for you so you put me
back sealing up the vessel
casting me into the blue
Since than I've been
found and brought back to new
every time I go inside I see you
I have to cover my eyes
to block the sunshine
from getting through
If you knew the worm was
in the apple would you
have bitten it
One sip told me there
was poison in the tea
forgiveness is nothing but
refraining from revenge
It is never forgetting the offense
eyes may wander yet
have yet to decode
a breath of meaning
Life is always good to those
who do not know what is
coming had Neo not
answered the knock
Choosing the red rock
still searching for that one
sock to that missing shoe you threw
