if I took a break
I may do something regretful
like break a leg
casting myself away
until I'm healed
it may take longer
than expected
and when I return
I find that the season has ended
having to sit out the game
long enough for the pain
to return wishing I
could turn back to
break the hands of time
instead of having an itch
unreachable to scratch
