In herds of hymns unhinged
Perturbed binged insight
All opposed to unchecked fright
We fight by raising voices incite
Plights swept by fights brought to light
Hyped in numbers under counted
Confounding epidemic systemic
Erstwhile gasps of "I can't breathe"
Choked from projects to protect and serve....
Whose heard a word, unless peace is disturbed
So I raise my fist in the air, to let heirs know...
I'm here, not to offend but in fact to defend
Upending pickets for too long fenced in
Pretending that righteousness is elected Godsends
Survival is a cycle that can't be thwarted or upended
Climate changing is the Ecclesiastes three in me, you and We
So for this time around I lend my voice to the wind
In so that time that never ends, the unheard is spoken for again
