Waiting for the cookies to bake
Got the spatula resting on an empty plate
Made a dozen chocolate chip but Imma eat 8
Waited till the kid was asleep - this gonna be great!
We Don’t have to share
A Cooke here, a cookie there
Heading up stairs, finna to be some crumbs in the bed
Wife’s upset cuz she didn’t hear what I said
That Imma eat 8, but she did the math
So I felt her wrath
If I baked a dozen
And there’s 8 on the plate...wait... wasn’t
There four cookies missing?
You dropped or ate four cookies - oh no you didn’t!?
I confessed while she was getting dressed, right
Walking up stairs earlier that night
I Broke the news to my wife
That I might just have a split personality
Part man and part Cookie Monster is my reality
She didn’t believe me, as she glanced unconvinced
I told her to check the stairs for some crumbs of evidence
If she kisses me then the beast will cease hence
My story worked as I sneaked in two more cookies
Six remained then she growled and mistook me
Wait, why do I only get three cookies!!!
