we sit and we listen
sometimes we don't hear
what we want to hear
but we hear what we
need to hear sometimes
the message is not for us
it's for us to pass on
before we pass on we must
continue telling our story
and stories of others
collectively we are one
with another we may not
know it but we need each other
on one accord in unison
like stars need the moon
and the moon needs the sun
we are many but still we are one
maters color belief or degree
we all are fighting to be free
don't look at it just see it
