I love you to a point to where it hurts to breath at times

Knowing how crazy this sounds keeps me from allowing those words from escaping from out of my mouth

Maybe it is my fear of giving you leverage…or allowing you to see how much I care now

Maybe it is because of pride?…or just fear that is keeping me so silent?

I feel too much like a sinner so I steer clear of the alter

Whenever we argue I fight harder because my tears tend to burn depending on the circumstances

Your lack of presence cripples me, 

The fear of not being able to answer the simple question of “What do I do now?” 

Sends my heart into a confused state that I have not been able to escape from

Although I am well aware of your location

I wait for you to come and save the day

Banish the floor, walls and ceiling as you make your entrance

Bring peace and calmness with each and every step that you take

And gift me a dose of kisses that are so sweet 

Not only does my heart skip multiple beats

My eyes weep with happiness as the cloak that had once covered them is washed away

Anchoring me down so that I am unable to escape into the abyss
