Towering barked skeletons
stoically bend, bowing
towards the majestic huge moon
reflecting all of the suns glory
as misty clouds try to shade
her celestial beauty.
As if angered by our lack
of the awareness of her presence
in the winter the season,
the air dipped her temperature,
teasing the skin with
those infamous goose bumps.
Gradually journeying across the cosmos,
chased by ballooning misty clouds,
the titanic moon faded into a distant glow.
Sheltered in the womb of my warm bedroom,
I fell asleep gazing out through one window,
to be awakened by the sun’s rays through another.
How gloriously wonderful are the treats of nature
that are constantly given to creatures like you and me.
