There comes a time when we let go
And no longer feel what we thought we know

I know he's the one, he knows I'm the best
But the times we share are less and less
To love and not see, how could this be
To have and not hold makes summer nights cold

It's okay to cook for one
But dinner for two is much more fun
To never laugh for days and weeks
Yet a smile comes through, but just for a peek

Time ticks and ticks and ticks on by
As days wither away, your heart still cries
To wait for answers as questions are still there
Is hard sometimes for one to bear

Your mouth speaks words loud and clearly
I love you too, I love you dearly

Moving on has made me see
That the love I have still, is the love for me
The past is gone, we should feel no sorrow
Live for today, dream for tomorrow

Let's take what was good that we've learned from our love
Apply it as needed as we go throughout life

Still no husband - Still no wife
