Crazy how life quickly changes
Graduating high school yelling out "Damn we made !"
Pour out the liquor for homies who's lives had faded
Staring at the es who had babies and mood changes so quick, they jaded
College dreams so surreal
Thinking we bout to learn some life skills.
Robbed of our money, they laughing like the funny
9 to 5 flipping burgers, though you got degrees n Hella fees
Funny how life just becomes a blur.
Not even in management, but the hi's misses and yes sirs.
Gotta keep pushing so you can be in first
Gotta have the knowledge, so you can strategize goals and converse
Thought the world be simple, but the young dying young, so you too can end up in a hearse
Free ya mind correctly, use the education and you could be pushing a Bentley
They taught us nothing doesn’t mean you not free to learn, free to earn
Don’t misuse that education, put that to use
We will not stand for this type of abuse, teach your babies and stop be lazy
We can rise up but hey I might just be crazy
