disconnected mine from me
I must connect
with those who also cry
wailing tears draining their souls
Because their forefathers killed mine
and raped my foremothers
who nursed their fore families’ children
So I must connect
to these tears of keloid wounds
drowning the evil of souls that mourn
And bleed with the excruciating agony
inherited from their fathers’ fathers:
If only tears could heal.
