The ego of fantasy
is as dangerously destructive
as is the reality of a ballistic missile.
The ego fantasy of the Prince of Evil
being played out on the stage
of our lives continues to rail real dangers
upon us, the audience, rather than the players
who sit mesmerized by it all.
With commanding stage presence,
Wielding the debasing sword of apathy,
the chief protagonist continues to spellbound
his unaware participating audience,
stoically shedding tears of disgusted disbelief.
Such a Shakespearian-like tragedy;
void of exits and entrances, yet replete
with the one man playing his many parts:
“…Seeking the bubble reputation…
[with his]…cannon’s mouth…”
Act Two: Scene One: When will reality
subdue fantasy and actions, apathy?
Pray to tell, audience; to coming telltale reality.
