Matters of the heart

No matter how many tears I cry.

No matter how many times I ask God why?

 

My tears wont bring you back to me.

My prayers wont take us back to how it use to be.

 

Sometime I forget and call out your name.

Some days are good some days, I can hardly bare this this pain.

 

Days when I can not clear my mind.

Nights I search for sleep I can not find.

 

You were my anchor, now my heart so heavy.

This pain weighs me down.

 

I wish you were not taken from me..

I wish we could go back to what it use to be.
