In The effort of Change

Golfing today’s political arena

has become chasing the whole in one.

We must be mindful not to be caught

like pawns in the chess game of choice;

falling into that deceitful ploy

of deciding between the lesser of the evil.

There is no such thing!  Evil is equally evil.

In the upcoming drive, let us not be sidelined

or sacked by the lack of self-belief or apathy.

Let us be in it to win it! And wind it, we must;

for now is the time and the time is now

to do what has been proven we can do.

Indeed, teamed geographically, let us muster

and marshal all our moral and righteous power

to bring about that change that must come.  And

let us not be dismayed; the change will come:

Yesterday was the tomorrow of the day before it,

and today will become tomorrow’s yesterday;

let not apathy delay tomorrow’s victorious dawning.
