Divine is the omnipresent spirit
By which we are connected
Faith is the vision that
Keeps us protected.
Trust is the inspiration
That lights our paths
Uplifting us with the comfort
Of the rod and staff.
Hope leads our hearts
With the belief,
That with each new day
Turns a new leaf.
Mercy is the forgiveness
Shown to those facing condemnation,
Grace is the assistance given that imparts
Strength to endure trial and resist temptation.
Peace is the comfort given in wake
Of trials and tribulations,
Purpose was given to us all
Instilled from the day of creation.
Prayer is how we seek guidance
Whenever we go astray,
Our very own one on one
To restart us back on our pathway.
Blessings come in many forms
Raining down from above,
When sought out within one another
We find ourselves showered in love.
Love, the greatest blessing of them all
Beheld in all hearts, minds and souls,
From the young to the elderly and
Far more precious than diamonds or gold.
From one blood many nations were made
Heaven, earth and all life combined,
A creation deemed unfathomable
And nothing short of divine.
He did all of this for us.
