Listen to my gears shift

Smelled the rubber burning

When you first got the gist

Pushing 50 in 3 seconds when you heard the gears shift

Felt terrified and thrilled as our car starts to drift

On the freeway, left lane, my run-flats never lose grip

The sweet taste of freedom as the torque starts to rip

You’ll never see me beg for permission

Heel toe and row the short throw of my manual transmission

Fools say to go fast you must go alone

A V8 sports car they clearly don’t own

Come with me if you have a need for speed

100 on the freeway the pork’s radar will never catch me!
