shivering

on the other side
of the fence
tears filling
vacant spaces
in weary worn eyes
squinting
visions reality
waiting…waiting…
struggling the coldness
of time…waiting
the liberation morning
when we shall rise
like the sun
our floating eyes
anchored on the prize
echoing
from the mountain top:
hakuna matata!
worrying not any more
surely knowing
that gloom of grief
shall fade to joy
in the morning
and all shall be overcome…
