my words glitched,

I can't send the full hint,

I'm pinched, pissed,

tisk, tisk

I'm tasked,

harassed,

patience amassed,

head in hands,

shaking it off,

I'm paused,

loading,

I'm going,

won't be back later,

gon', gon'

so long,

but not before the fluidity,

...

You Keep Me

Riding high with these emotions,

a tribulation of fear I can’t side with,

and theirs no one here next to me.

“Hello”, “good bye”, “hello”, “good bye”

are the only words I’ve come to know

watching these clouds come and go.

Every second through this turbulence,

and every minute at this ascent,

it reminds me how you keep me decent.

You keep my mind down-to-earth,

but when you are away from me

I can’t help but feel not at home.

Cold and Lonely Wisteria

Oh how I know you are delicate!
Losing your hair like Wisteria
when my core’s heat is absent
to keep you warm on a bitter night.

Your vines, they lay restless
missing my touch’s lulling nature,
and do they quiver with a flowering bud
blanketed in a bed numbing as ice.

The colors in your palette fade
chill as the surrounding air,
yet you still find a way to melt down
bawling into a beautiful delight.

Daylight not saving...waiting,

my sun travels the sky behind,

for she doesn't see me- see me!

Abandonment is all she provides.

I grieved, unattended to,

blazoned for her warmth to show,

till all drifted upon me were cold

shoulders,

where I had become one with the snow.

My life dwindled and slowed,

watered drops frozen to molds.

A stranger alerted, sheltered my globe,

wanted not to know, but to elope.

She'd only row, just attentive at most,

like a partner eager to yearn,

she paddled my boat,

and with a wise two words I spoke...

"You discern"!
