Got a text late last night;

Saying there will be no holding

of hands when singing The Lord’s Prayer

Nor any shaking of hands or hugging

During the Sign of Peace; Communion

Would be Spiritual—no Bread; nor Wine!

Woke up early this morning,

Rolled over and kiss the Queen;

Hugged—gave thanks—and got up.

We had toast and a small shot of wine;

Got two Coronas from the frig

And sat down and watched the news:

When you have been through hell and back—

Aged—and are still perpendicular to the Earth,

There should not be anything erased from faith.

Isn’t it true that we are saved by His wounded body?

And is shed blood?  Faith is not rhetorical to believers.

To God Be The Glory!...Glory!...Glory Alleluia!. Amen!?
