I close my eyes

then write my future

in past tense. 

Sanity is

average,

Xanax for your

passions.

People with no vision,

call mine madness.

I just need you to know!

I love me!

I hate me

for the same reason.

My angels and demons

share the same features. 

I live in the future

with no regard for

carpe diem.

My mind whispers,

“Validation, wealth, acceptance,

you need’em.”

My heart screams,

“That ain’t freedom!”

Now you know.
