Were you startled by your journey?
Eyes wide open,
Searching,
Each face for answers.
Did we coax you here too soon?
Sweet angel child
Were you intrigued?
By the blaring noise,
By the blazing lights,
We would like to say,
That is all there is,
But that’s just the beginning.
Sweet angel child
Welcome!
Did you feel our tenderness?
Amidst our tears.
Did you feel our fears?
Amongst many prayers.
Do not fret;
As we embark on our journey
To make sense of it all.
