We are born into families
like trees

require sun, water and earth
are necessities it cannot do without

there is a natural sense of order 
which dictates what its about

its lifeline... From seed, to fruit
follows an unwritten code

by many lifetimes proven
of conditions and events survived

the sum of its parts
subassemblies in its life design

which grow throughout its lifetime
it provides the roots leaves and branches

if it is to bear fruit it must be successful
 in ways which make it productive

what is vital to the engines  
is efficiency, value is assigned 

to what effort is required 
in its usefulness 

to satisfy the needs 
under changing conditions

As our angry thoughts explode
creating minefields around us

Dangerous minds, uncoil 
like serpents ready to strike

mood set to anger...Adrenaline rush

what once was purely love 
gets corrupted... now, rejected

evil words charged with negative energies 
loaded into guns aim for the heart

when a headshot just isn't good enough
bad intentions, deadly vibes sent to kill 

to those once bitten, poisoned emotions flow
a deadly game loaded for enemies within range

Isn't it strange when ones we once loved
fall from our graces... and can feel it

The chasm deepens as time closes around us
eternally displaced our precious memories of better days

Our better angels go down with a sinking ship
hope we can find a path ...

Awareness
our minds proven in time 
like particles 

assembling systemic structures

blessed by persistence
patience blended with a sense of daring

through our energetic bank of practical ideas

Stardust that we are 
Kissed by suns as we spin away

within capsules, fragile shells
