No longer will the lambs
remain silent while the lion
roars out his racist punishment
as if a Satanic up-side-down Orion.
Although the sheep masters may be dead
left behind is the fearless herd that they led.
This brief poetic awareness is not about the rhyme,
but getting off our apathetic butts in the coming time.
So, don’t let the syndrome-minded oppressed few
keep the free-minded from doing what they must do.
Otherwise, more will die by chokes and bullets in the back
just for being righteous proud beings—happy and black.
