Raw Beauty

I was wondering if you would let me draw you naked
Art in purest form
Not to fulfill any freaky fantasies
But to capture your essence in its most beautiful form
Naturally gorgeous, unclothed from toxins
You remind me of my favorite fruit, the pineapple
Rough around the edges, yet melt in your mouth soft in the middle
Your outside wall known to be a little prickly,
But your inside is the definition of juicy

A real man knows a woman is birthed from a threesome
Of sexual relations between patience, time, and experience
So trust,
You don’t need to make-up excuses,
To cover your girlish blemishes
Girl your very foundation is queen beautiful

Your blush a metaphor to a graffiti painting
Made of gel on an inner city building wall
Masking years of mistreatment, this is your spa treatment
Allow this butler to serve your needs,
Ice your heartache,
And service your broken smile
The interstate “sadness” is currently out of order
So please, detour through my heart to exit “recovery”
Let my arms be your final destination

I was wondering if you would let me love you
Allow me to draw you a picture of heaven
Even though I can’t really draw
I figure it’d look a lot like your name written a hundred times on paper
Underlined by a question, “Will you open the gates to your heart?”
Check box yes or no
Maybe you’ll love me for the effort
For the thought of attempting to stencil a living angel
Sorry I haven’t had much practice

You see you hardly find raw beauty in a woman anymore
Their ugly actions overshadow their potential
It seems as though all you see is wigs, horse hair
Fake nails, bras to make them stand out
Or clothes that curve their figure to make them fit in
I can’t remember the last time I saw a woman
With a profile picture with no make-up,
Hair not done, wearing sweats,
And a picture that hasn’t been cropped in Photoshop
Allow my eyes to be the camera that pictures your worth
You won’t need a Botox injection to add me as your man
Your smile tweets and I follow
I’ll simply inject my thoughts into your mind
So you can see how my mind pictures your beauty
I want you to be able to see you how I see you
Naturally Beautiful
I’m pleading, repeat it and rewrite it over and over again
So you never forget how to spell what the two words mean to you
Ever again
