My eyes are wide open.
I see the darkness that is hidden.
I’m not a sheep who follow the masses blindly.
They say the game doesn’t change, but why do people fall for it repeatedly?
The tactics, lies and schemes are always the same.
I’m a rebel and wild beast that can’t be tamed.
I refused to fall for the bait and tricks.
I’m too awakened to fall prey to the matrix.
I’m not saying that I’m better than any of you.
But ever since I ‘ve awakened, I see the world with a different view.
I’m flawed and was once a lost sheep.
But I refuse to fall back asleep.
Every step I make is calculated.
Being a follower is outdated.
I’ve fully stepped into my power and fixed my crown.
Keeping my head above water; I refuse to drown.
Walking by faith; I’m moving at a steady pace.
My goal is to remain in first place.
I picked up the broken pieces and put myself back together.
I have the strength to ride through any type of weather.
I know what’s it like to feel the pressure and have your back against the wall.
But I’ve learned how to stand my ground and keep my balance so I wouldn’t fall.
Life lessons has allowed me to gain a lot of wisdom and understanding.
My life, I’m now commanding.
No longer allowing society to have control.
I faced my dark side and settled the beef with the devil for my soul.
No longer a captive of past fears and pain.
I see the prize at the end of my path and it’s mine to obtain.
I see my path with clear vision.
So, every move I make from here on out will be with precision.
I’ve embraced this new version of me.
Now, I’m ready to begin my new journey.
