I’m searching for a place to go, so that I can lose time
Does not matter the distance traveled, I just need to unwind
Who would be that someone, to travel along by my side
Not knowing the destination, only to yield support and guide
The road much traveled leads to happiness, so I'll race with the clock
As time fly’s, I spread my wings, soaring high amongst the flocks
Still I search for that someone, for me, they would risk it all
Some are too busy, but wait, to see and watch me fall
Now time is upon me, I know it is close enough to touch
Seconds turned to minutes, and now the hour matters not as much
That someone could have been anyone, but no one is to blame
For me finding peace and happiness so thank everyone I didn’t name.
