We must ensure
With nourishing blood,
Sweat, and tears
That freedom’s road
Remains with green grass;
Liberation is a chartered journey.
So let us continue to water
Its course for those who are to
Sojourn behind us that they need
Only to shift gears and set sails as the
Drivers of their spirits and that, they
Be masters of faith and captains of souls.
Ours must be to ensure that heirs
Of Nile River sojourners need never
To set out on unchartered journeys
But will merely have to just refuel
With the spiritual energy of purpose
And complete the chartered course.
