Hurt is a crucifixion
but forgiveness
is a blessing:
Be at peace
and live in the love
of our Father’s prayer:
Forgive me, Father,
as I forgive my transgressors.
Be not deceived, hate is productive;
producing more of itself, but love—
love is everlastingly forgiving:
You cannot love the God
you’ve never seen and yet hate
those ever lingering in your tear’s being.
