-Frozen rain hangs from the rood crying teardrops
-Root beer slushies’ covers the sidewalks
-Pavement edged in rocky road ice cream
-Windows tinted in breathe
-Surface dressed in wet white wedding gown
-Hand sweaters end with cold palms
-Engine smoke exits nostril and oral mufflers
-Hooded cotton body tarps keep torsos warm
-Cranium caps capture and hold in heated thoughts
-It’s that season again
