I'm not old enough to know your pain I wasn't there to see a thing I never seen a body hang I seen my share of slain nothing I feel can measure up to your pain you seen and done it all I'm not wise enough to know a thing you live your life underneath a dark cloud I inherited all the rain I been hit by a bus but never been ran over by a train it's the only way I can explain the difference between the two sides of the bloodline one was a slave one was not one was wanted by the feds one was hiding from the cops one was a have one was a have not one sweated bullets whenever the door knocked one wore a shiny ring and a crimson hat with a black tassel flashed a sign didn't get no hassle one believed if one believed one was deceived it's all in the past it's make believe beats me "I know nothing" of that
