Woke up to bright sunshine this morning!
And there they were, chirping away as they
Soared from tree to tree in playful flight; and
The verdurous grass was as if a hued stage.
The symphonized chirping was loud but sweet;
And the playfulness was beautifully choreographed.
It was truly a live broadway performance that only God
In nature could produce and freely give to us—the living.
Despite the pandemic trials and tribulations to be faced,
This beautiful canvassed morning seemed to be awareness
Of the peace and love that is in laboring birth mode and is
Indeed on its way to a troubling world that is much in need.
Let us not wallow in despair; scripture has never failed us yet;
We have but to cast our burdens upon the Lord who sustain us
Thus, let us not be deceived; our God cannot be mocked; it’s written,
“…whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Morning, Lord!
