To idealize

I can’t be shaken

Firmly planted as a rose 

In concrete 

My vibrant petals cloak the Street 

Call it full fashioned identity 

A coat of arms 

Out of reach 

Nowadays,

There’s new meaning to everything 

No reason to overthink 

The labels attach

effortlessly

Aren’t we more than just a 

filibuster’s wet dream?

Who’s orchestrating the teams?

The antagonist concocting a scheme

An air-bender who twists the truth

Clever- but short-pitched

I see the TRUTH in all of this

It’s buried beneath the-

Papier mache’ sheep 

Made from yesterday’s

Newspaper clippings

Useless information radicalized 

Formally formulated and

televised

More digitally synchronized 

Propaganda on the rise
