What could have been those 40 acres, have become
Concrete jungles; and today’s mules, two-legged
Whipped asinine butts in them old cotton fields
That has become the new jail grounds:-
Thus, is what the bigoted heirs of bigotry
Hope and prayer should be our state of being;
But we are the heirs of the emancipated,
And though delayed, we shall soon overcome
This syndrome misery threatening our liberation:-
Today, we know where we must go from here; and
Are prepared to go so, by whatever means necessary;
So be prepared oppressive heirs, and know that the war
Of the ways is on and we shall be dropping bombs of hope,
Awareness, faith, and fueling willpower; igniting inspirational
Flames releasing spiraling smoke of rising eternal determination:-
Be ready and be prepared all ye fellow brothers and sisters;
A change is coming to all manifestations of oppressive actions.
Thus, you best be on your respective lookouts; for a change
Is coming to all the ways created in the oppression of our lives.
