to be used in our favor

we have processed modified or synthesized 

our preferences/choices.

Mining for gems

or precious metals,

chemicals or substances 

subject to be useful

in a partial mastery with knowledge

learned accumulatively,  

Served to make us who we are

today.

Our brief time of travel into space 

we of little faith

having a righteous fear of 

Meteor showers, tsunamis, solar storms 

earthquakes and volcanoes…

God only knows what they portend.

Bending the universe to our imaginations

Fed by an unseen voice

Magma deep within the core of earth 

And even the sun 

Currents of existence without end
