She had to open up her eyes because she was literally blind. She was blinded by the world’s lies. She couldnt see with her own two eyes. She believed every lie he told her. He told her in order to be good enough she had to look this way. She had to wear weave in her hair to disguise her flaws and to define her beauty, she had to wear tight clothes on her body to get boys to notice her, she had to look stylish to fit in with everyone else. She had to become fake to truly find herself. He told her she had to act this way. She had to pretend. She had to act to please people. Pretend to smile, pretend to act fine, pretend to act innocent, pretend to act like someone else and forget what she really felt. She believed in order to be accepted she had to believe him. Not knowing she was being deceived. She was becoming another person. She thought that she could find her identity in the world but that was a lie, she was destroying herself. She never felt like she was good enough and thats what her life was based on. But It all began when she stuttered word after word. In class in front of her classmates in elementary school. She was always embarrassed but never showed emotion.She never wanted others to have pity on her, so she never had pity on herself. She kept her feelings inside. She became quiet. She felt alone. She felt as though her words were wrong that they didn’t matter. So she kept her mouth closed. People never knew how she felt or knew her true self. They knew what they saw. A quiet girl, someone to herself. She never told anybody how she felt so the fear inside herself never got healed. She kept her fear inside and tried and tried to live her life but living wasn’t easy. The fear inside was controlling her. She was becoming a loner, someone who never talked to anyone. Closed in because she wouldn’t let anyone in. Her heart was being harden, she was comfortable with being to herself and not talking to anyone else. She was becoming self-centered, a selfish person. Who cared so much about what people thought about her that she wasn’t caring about people around her. She was prideful. She refused to open her heart, she knew no on would understand her. So she kept on pretending, until one day she opened the bible. She opened the bible before but this time was different. She was looking for an answer, she wanted to find herself. She read the bible the first time for herself not for anyone else. She flipped through the pages and read several of scriptures day and night. Now this she that I am talking about is me , I was lost trying to find my identity. While everyday I was battling with this fear inside me. It was until God himself revealed his self to me . Instead of listening to the father of lies, I started to listen to the father of truth. His voice was very clear. He told me my whole life I have been living in fear, I have been trying to find myself in this world but I have never got anywhere. I have been believing in the world’s lies instead of believing in him. He told me he gave up his son to take the pain for me so I can be set free. He told me fear is not real, its just the enemy lying to me. He said I don’t have to fear anymore because he is enough for me.I dont need to base my life on me feeling like im not enough. I allowed fear to come into my heart but now Im allowing Jesus Christ to enter my heart and transform me. Fear will no longer have control over me because I received the whole truth and he is big enough to bring me through from it all. Im free.
