Rather, it is a challenging ladder climb:-

And each step teaches a lesson to grasp;

Enlightening divine wisdom and guidance:

Thus, in life’s climbing, let us be as Jacobs;

Fueled and energized with step-climbing faith.  

Perhaps the greatest lesson that is taught

As we pull and push up life’s ladder is this:

To practice climbing faith is one thing;

Living that faith in labors of love is another:-

In service to our fellow beings in life’s climb,

Let us forever be reaching back and pulling:-
