The death of my elder Sister
Took a grief toll on my soul
That was paid by divine love
With healing keloid memories.
I have now passed through the toll
And am now at Love’s Rest Stop;
Fueling with tears of joyous love
Of her wisdom and guidance.
Like the womb that gave us navels
And the Aunts that natured them
When our Dad passed, she also
Contributed to making me a servant:-
Making me a servant of our God
By being in and of service to others,
She exemplified that practicing faith
Is one thing, but living it is another.
Yes, it is because of this Earthly Angel,
Now resting in the bosom of Christ, that I,
At 81+, am the man of love I am today:-
