Looking out into the night, there it was—darkness;
Yet, the telling truth of light openingly revealed itself!
There laid the dead bodies of three tested teens of the day;
Victims of a drive-by shooting of other look-alike teenagers.
Standing there in abject agony, we are caused to scream
Why did these kids have to die? What the hell is going on?
Ironically, the answer requires us to also ask, why and how
We, ourselves, allowed this devastating horror to evolve?
In answering, we must seek to ensure that this never happens
Again:-
In answering, let us ensure the children understand the Oppressor
Syndrome:-
Indeed, in awakening awareness, let us collectively realize self-
Inflicted oppression;
For murdering each other is nothing more than agreeing with
Our oppressors:-
Why would you, an oppressed, have your child, an oppressed, murder
Another oppressed child?
Why would you, an oppressed adult, murder another oppressed adult
For your oppressor?
In all of this not being you and prayerfully hoping it will never be, please
Think upon these thoughts;
Indeed, in footprinting ancestral faith, let us be about the ministering of
Healing this Oppressor Syndrome.
