Darkness comes before
5:30 PM
And the full moon is nowhere
To be seen:-
The whole sky has grown dark blue—
Shadowing all;
We waited on the lightening and thunder
To come.
After a while the roaring scattering thunder
Echoed the warning;
And without the lightening, the dark sad sky
Began to slowly cry:-
Now the early dark blue pre-canvassing sky
Continues to cry.
