This is not the time to spend
Wallowing in despair and mentally
Whip-lashing the hell out of self;
Rather, this is the time to celebrate
The who you are; not the who others
Erroneously think and decry who you are:-
There is no perfection for mere mortals
Here on Earth; we all make mistakes,
Erroring in self-willing, as opposed to
The will that God has posed for us:-
Know that with God in your heart,
When you learn and understand
The lesson learned from a mistake,
Great awareness and divine
Thanksgiving awaits you.
When you have truly repented
And re-routed your life’s sojourn
Towards doing that which is good,
God forgives you and so must you!
Now get out there and be generous
And loving to self and others as you
Celebrate being in joyful labors of love
For self and others who need your care.
