Some things just confuse life
Make easy turn to strife
Make right turn to wrong
Short turn to long
Words turn to song
Weak turn to strong
Some things just flip stuff upside down
Turn happiness to frown
Craziness to
Anything
It is crazy how one moment things can be breezy
Nice, slow, and easy
And in the blink of an eye
Those same things can make me cry
So when I can't bare it I just close my eyes
Try and let my mind free me
Hide from everything that can see me
So that I can momentarily live freely
My mind is my prison and paradise
Things in there can be simple
Pretty like a dimple
Or ridiculous and outrageous
That make living courageous
I’m trying to learn to shake depression
And let pride and past experience shine
Because strength, courage, and positivity
Are contagious
We can't let past things rage us
Hold us back
Problems of the past are just that
Just problems of the past
Yet
Lessons for the future
Leading you to a brighter forthcoming
Leaving pain in the back
Unable to fight for a win in the running
Lost
Alone
And unwanted
We have to be the best
Show any struggle or hurdle
That that is all it was
Was a struggle
Was a hurdle
Nothing to linger around
Nothing to make you less
But something that will build you up
Something to help you shine
Something to make you
You
A bright
Vibrant
Strong
Soul
Grow
Shine
Live
Free
Of burdens and things that won't
Or don't want to let you stand tall
Anything that wants to hinder you from moving briskly
But wants you to crawl
Release it
Set yourself free!
