When you walked into the room
the wind stopped blowing
the sun cease to shine
the moon drawled the blinds
the stars scattered
through out the sky
the clouds burst into flames
the bluest sky turned gray
the leaves on the trees
turned brown and crumbled
the birds stopped singing
flowers died and angels cried
babies wept and mothers screamed
dreams turned into nightmares
monsters and demons were released
into the atmosphere
the eyes of my heart cried bloody tears
the sound of your voice shot
daggers through my brain
hip hop turned to blues
cushions turned to stones
mirrors shattered
doors slammed shut
windows broke
the ground under my feet
quickened to sand
I reached up but the sky was gone
like rags my life was torn
my regrets the day I was born
now the door is closed and locked
