snitching and telling is cool now
except for the ones getting told on
I have a sister who used to tell
everything she see most of time
she told on me I had plans to kill her
in her sleep but if she didn't die
she would tell on me so I let her live
if only she knew what I had plans to do
I don't do bad stuff no more I don't
want to get told on because I'm too
old school to think snitching is cool

Frostbitten (06162025)every time it rain it pours in the house the ceiling falls on me rolling thunder lightning strikes we don't get along were always fighting it won't be much longer I see the sign a strong wind is blowing a storm our way I been through many mighty winds before that failed to knock me down it's sad when a house is not a home it feels like the Astrodome don't know if I should stay in place or evacuate the choice is my decision to make you baked me a cake you say its fosted with love but sorry doesn't cut it you say if I leave I'll be making a big mistake but arent mistakes made to make I don't have a taste for sweets don't like to throw food away you been in the kitchen preheating the oven planing to bake all day but too bad the cake you baked gone to waste  |

My Father (06152025)today is father's day oh, happy day to all the men who deserve to be celebrated everyone who knows me know it's not one of my favorite days I learned how to forgive I forgave but there are some stains that won't go away though they may have faded with age they still can be seen it is written to honor thy father and thy mother it is also written father's do not provoke your children to anger it took a powerful dose of humility to lose the hostility and aggression I fostered some I grew up with didn't have a father well of course they did but never seen the man or didn't know who he was I seen mine all the time hate is a strong word I try hard to keep it out of my vocabulary but that man brought every ounce of animosity out of me my father don't deserve no honor after all the hell he instilled in me I don't believe he deserve to rest in peace everybody said he was a good man my reply he was a lousy dad |
Question Marks (06152025)stripes across my legs arms and behind remind me of how deep those extension cords cut into me like lacerations from a sharp blade my mother is squeamish she hates the sight of blood and violence it's hard to believe she's the same woman who drew blood from me disciplining me cracked my brothers head wide open with a 1970 platform shoe she beat us purple black and blue I sustained broken fingers fractured ribs from being wacked with a broom stick and hit with broken legs off wooden chairs if that ain't violence I don't know what to call it I mean it behooves me how she leaped from a woman who committed all those acts of premeditated violence to a woman who swears she wouldn't harm a flea or fly the lie detector determined that's a lie I got the scars to prove otherwise |
Contributing Factors (06152025)you can love everybody and still end up alone your heart can be in the right place and still end up with out a home your intentions could be good and still something ends up going wrong you can have empathy and show compassion and still get treated like you done nothing to help at all you can be considerate but still have to put up with the selfishness of others you can be as nice as you want to be and still you have to deal with rude and nasty people you can try your best to avoid trouble and still run into a trouble maker you can be on your best behavior and still allow someone to pull your trigger even smiling can cause a chain reaction of dirty looks you can say please and thank you and still not get the same politeness in return you can say excuse me and still have to shove someone out the way you can pay someone a compliment and not get a thank you in response you can tell someone you love "I love you" and still not get a "I love you too" you can let someone cry on you... |
