Nothing Really Matters To Me

It doesn't matter to me 

It doesn't matter to me from where you come from or experiences you've endured in your life 

It doesn't matter if you were raised with privileges, always had your way, in a home with no pain, and smiles on everyone's face

It doesn't matter if you came from below the struggle where pain builds tears that floods the eye and hardships apart of day to day life

It doesn't matter if you are highly educated with a Doctorate or Masters Degree

It doesn't matter if you are one who successfully made it by following his or hers dream

It doesn't matter your race, color, belief, creed or ethnicity 

Nothing really matters if Within Your Life The Lord Can Not Be Seen 

Some may question why the things of this life move or react me

It's morning and everyone's outside waiting for the truck to pick us up to go to work in the cotton field

In the back of the truck filled with workers, I close my eyes to appreciate the wind that hits my face

I Pray to the Lord that my future children will have a better opportunity to do something with their lives, say f*ck this labor s*it, educate their minds, own some sh*t, travel this motherf*ckn world, learn as much as they can, and escape this b*tch
