if you keep checking for a message and there is no message for you that means no one is checking for you don't be sad don't be blue fix your mouth wear a smile this message is for you "people will count you out but a time will come when they will need you to count them in" like Joseph in the pit left for dead by his own brothers because he had a dream don't tell nobody about the dream you had better yet don't tell nobody "I have a dream" life will have you crying streams asking God "Lord what does this all mean" why do I keep having these dreams how come everytime I wake up I see things that make me wanna scream those I love act like they hate me when I'm around friends I feel the walls closing in it's lonely but you're not by yourself I see visions I write verses in cursive to reverse curses I listen intuitively to the whispering still voice inside warning me reminding me telling me "pay attention to your surroundings" it doesn't take much to detect when "someone don't like you" but you refuse to believe that "they don't like you" don't wait around to find out "they don't like you" it might be too late to escape the truth when it grasp you heard this before you're hearing it once more the battle you're in is a spiritual war it is not for the weak it is not for the meek hold on be strong though it may tarry it won't be too long before you score

Chime In (11292025)all the stuff that's been going on is enough to make one snap it's too much how many times this year have we heard the word SNAP repeatedly repetitiously symbolically feed the children invade the island free the children it's enough to make one go insane don't do it the aim is to put you in an institution mass incarceration is their idea of a solution they keep setting traps but we won't buy it all they want is a race riot be careful of the set up their trying to line you up stay focused stay centered the scale of justice is one sided as long as we're divided we'll all be lopsided it's a slippery slope if you find a knot in the truth untie the rope it's hard to know the truth their always lying you need saline in your blood stream stop crying they keep trying to pick us off we keep multiplying they do enough stuff to us to tick us off their time is almost up bells will ring once we had enough the world won't be the same |

The Easy Way (11282025)"Life Isn't Easy" I get it got the tshirt, hat and socks to match all that. it's easy to get lost in familiar places it's easy to feel like a stranger amongst familiar faces it's easy to feel alone in a crowd of people you known all of your life it's easy to feel like you gone but know you still here it's easy for people to talk about you as if you don't hear all the time you tried to fit in now you don't even want a friend all the times you wanted to be a part now you rather be alone with your broken heart it's easy to feel the past in the presence of pain the feeling never change it's easy to go insane it's easier to talk to your self than try to communicate with some one else it's easy to keep it to yourself keep it out the street put it on a sheet life makes it easy to write poetry it don't cost a dime it don't have to rhyme to speak your mind you don't need a clock to tell time |

Mason Jars (11282025)moms grandmother lived on Lanzit Ave a train ran down the middle of the street I hurled a lot of rocks at those passing boxcars you could get the best burger on the corner Jim Dandy's was Avalon Imperial but I preferred The Golden Bird across town the best fried chicken hands down everybody hung out at the record shop that's where it went down we were "flyin high in the friendly skies without ever leaving the ground" the struggle had us tired and weary but we weren't quite ready to lay our bodies down I went to school across those tracks Samuel Gompers and Leroy Lock she had a dog that looked like a dirty mop his name was Champ he was old didn't like to be bothered and only barked when we made too much noise she snapped a lot of beans cooked and hummed a bunch of tunes we all affectionately called her Mama she taught me a lot of stuff without telling me much I always watched she was non verbal her look said enough her eyes were grayish sometimes they were blue she made moonshine... |
