I wouldn’t kiss you if you told me to,

while I’d prefer to look into your eyes

first.

I would rather be without you

sometimes to feel it in my heart how it

hurts.

I’ll die trying to love you perfectly,

cause denying it’s impossible is

concurred.

I couldn’t possibly move mountains

for you, but I can move words to make

sure you are heard.

I could hug you, yet I won’t because

holding you is a more secure event.

I’d pour my all into you, as what’s mine

Hold me close and easy,

for if you need me—need me.

Unclothe me nice and slow,

getting to know my every simile.

Feel the way my heart beats

when I breathe out, like the sea.

Skin silk like sand on its beach,

hiding treasures within your reach.

Read the way my eyes seek,

right where yours and mine meet.

Don’t go on being discreet,

you see what I see, and it’s enticing.

All there in writing...,

as I breathe in.

Reality is owning your truth,

feeling the heat of your fires,

the mandarin hues to electric blues.

Admit that you want me as I do you,

from the depths beyond your pearly gate,

the empty space yearning to be valued.

I should not cross, but occupy your mind

Love Language

Articulating the intimacy,

face to face with my eyes drawn,

her taboo is pulsing heavily,

heaving for me to carry on.

Spontaneously stowing emotions,

holding on to her baggage spoken

even though some of her thrill is gone,

still my prized moment, my token.

For she is my sought after end,

captured like a book in series

always leading me back to her zen,

and in no way for my satisfaction first.

A beautiful equation, you plus me

Where peace and love is all we need

Hugs from under honest sleeves,

And long leashes to let respect be

Plenty seen but no image like we,

Not almost, slightly, or in between

A togetherness not lost in reverie,

Nor sour over all that is sweet

Gentle unlike a baby’s first teeth,

Yet forgiving while the hurt is brief

Dig deep into my innermosts
until you’re covered in my immortality.
Undam me like a dozer and I shall 
flow again with joy while you pardon me.

I am up to my head in burdens
and I will be forever in debt to you.
These depths are killing my intellectual,
as I run out of air to stay in your pursuit.

In lieu of being happy and surging
this stagnation keeps us apart,
and I don’t want you to be free of me,
but for me to be the reason you love hard.

Shield me from harm's ways, 
always damaging my sail, 
saturating my spirits in waves, 
leaving me to shore-up a shell.

Make me lively like the sky, 
kissable against the moon's maim, 
a colorful pallet that meets the eye 
on a canvas painted in soft rains.

Take me as I am,
My flesh, my bones, my blood-cells.
Let’s be in common,
as we are the same with flaws
that don’t make us less pleasant.

Miss me like warming up cold feet
under the covers over pillow convos.

The mood hotter than core’s heat,
moisture precipitating in droves.

Senses heartening, beat after beat
chests rising to the occasion, no?

Maybe miss me like love on repeat,
yes?, like love that always seeds to grow.

Hold me close in the coming of rain
Consoling my demons with bolting eyes
Peaking from behind my mind’s terrain.

Amidst all the devilry keep me sane,
All because you fear not the disguise;
Leaving calm my autumn domain.

My protector, solace, all the same,
Be my shield, shade over my eyes
From October’s trickery game.

Treat me well until the sun’s claim
Over the crisp sky, and then I shall rise
Fallen in love with November again.
