See that black boy running scared his old man gotta problem

Dip to the same song

Same song since old heads was young bucks

The streets are undefeated

Names change

The hood stays the same

Going to jail out on bail

Collect calls from upstate

The police knows your name

See that black boy running scared

Running from ghetto games malt liqour

Pissy alleys and bombed out houses

Running from gorilla pimps street light hustlers

Two time losers drug abusers

Sing the same song

Woulda coulda shoulda sermons

Sung in corner colloquialisms

Those euthanized by apathy

Run black boy run reality two seconds off your azz

The suburbs is just a word learned in 8th grade english

Reading writing and reefer

School house lies tells the white mans truth

My little sister belly getting bigger

She can't run

Baby daddy died with a gun in his hand

That boy ran before he could walk

Pistols pop young boys get dropped in the middle of the night

Time is a thief stealing birthdays from street soldiers with targets on their backs

Black boy run away

Your life is more than this invisible cage

Invisible rage

Fueled by fire

Forged bodies move under invisible indoctrination

Run until your tired black boy

Run until your lungs swell

Don't stop black boy

Keep running

Your life depends on it...
