A pledge like a string,
ties itself to my heart.
Creating a knot,
whose grip strengthens
with time's passage,
refusing to loosen.
This pledge,
imbued with an unyielding promise,
anchors itself
becoming an impenetrable defense
against all storms which pass.
It binds and confines itself
to my soul.
