A bud of lotus crept
as a serpent thru the depths
reaching towards the sun for warmth
...as i perhaps...
in search of that, more perfect understanding of life
in perfect harmony
with the heart and passions flow
seeking the light of promise
The lotus at last reaching the surface
...flourishing...
reaching silently within
pausing for a moment as if in reflection
then radiates the perfect blossum
...i too am the lotus...
absorbing from the light of you
causes and effects, seeds of desire
which in turn flourish
...awaiting the moment...
