Christ you saved me
you came into my heart and changed me
and everyday since you’ve made me
to be a little less like me and more like you…
i know it sounds crazy, if you don’t understand
but i’m hoping that maybe one day everyone will comprehend…
the abundance of His love, the limitless grace and mercy
and that if we just embrace it and face adversity
with a smile on our face
and stay strong while we running this race…
the world is tryna tear us apart and bring us down
its tryna take away our smiles and make us frown
make us feel like there’s something wrong with standing our ground…
standing up for what we believe in
the One who died for us
bc every time we don’t God is grieving…
i just lied for what?
to get cool points, to make another friend,
someone who doesn’t care about how my life will end,
someone who doesn’t care about how my soul will rot,
if i just live to follow the trend,
doesn’t matter if i don’t get caught...
getting drunk, smoking pot, having sex, more than a lot, another lie, every day, getting high, in every way, gateway drugs, no more hugs, no more laughing, lets just cut, no more loving, lets just f***, no more living, lets give up...
the devils lies, from his spies, tell a story so disguised, from the truth, look i’m proof, i fell for it right off the roof, but Jesus caught me and said no more, stop those things, you’re not a whore, pick yourself up off the floor, I died for you so you can soar, up to Heaven right thru the door, just accept my grace and I’ll end the war, between your heart, and your mind, you know true love is hard to find, but I promise you that I am IT, just recommit and come to Me, let Me love and set you free, I promise I AM ALL you NEED!
