Needles constantly empaling your spine
Eyes fire red from the rivers cried
You'd think a heartbreak would make you wise
Heartbreak is pain from the shatter
Regret on a platter
It's silent screams that never mattered
It runs it's course in different patterns
The heartbreak is real, the heartbreak is now
The heartbreak leaves you wondering how,
How he & she could be
Or why the choice was never me.
Or why he played with you and lied
Or made you feel unworthy no matter how hard you tried.
Heartbreak is the sound of shatters, the color red.
It's a bloody remnant of where love once lead.
It causes fear and regret to take over your head.
Then one day you'll wake up and your heart will be cold and dead.
